Why Join?

For centuries, cultures around the world have honoured the New Moon as a time of reflection, renewal, and intention-setting. The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance, light and dark in equal measure, ushering in a season of growth and possibility.

Through movement, ritual, and community, we align with these natural rhythms. Dance and embodied practice allow us to express emotions, shake off stagnancy, and embrace transformation in a dynamic way.

Common Fears & Considerations

It’s natural to feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension when attending a ceremony like this, especially if it’s new to you. You might feel uncertain about dancing without social crutches like alcohol, speaking in a circle, or engaging in ritual practices outside of mainstream culture.

Know that there is no pressure to perform or participate in any way that doesn’t feel right for you. Whether you move freely, sit quietly, or simply witness, you are welcome in this space exactly as you are.

Your Host: Claudia Silas
