THE GRAVITY NEW MOON & DANCE

Join us for a night of magnetism and pull under the dark sky of the Super New Moon. During this lunar cycle, the moon is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit. The Super Moon cycle intensifies the gravitational forces at play, and we will too connect with the unseen forces that guide us. What magnetic forces are at play in your life? What are you drawn or pulled towards? What is already seeking you?

What to Expect

🌀 Opening Circle: Arrive in community, ground into the space and begin the evening with an a short share and meditation.

🌑 Ritual & Intention Setting: Through guided journaling and ritual, we will explore what is naturally drawing us forward in life, rather than what we feel we must chase.

💃 Embodied Movement & Dance: Through somatic practices, we will explore moving with gravity and how we are drawn to dance.

🤝 Closing Circle & Communal Sharing: End the evening in unity, with space to reflect, connect and enjoy shared treats.

Why Join?

For centuries, cultures around the world have honoured the New Moon as a time of reflection, renewal and intention-setting. A Super New Moon, being closer to Earth, enhances our sense of gravity, both physically and energetically. This is a time to embrace what is already coming towards you.

Common Fears & Considerations

It is natural to feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension when attending a ceremony like this, especially if it is new to you. You might feel uncertain about dancing without social crutches like alcohol, speaking in a circle or engaging in ritual practices outside of mainstream culture.

Know that there is no pressure to perform or participate in any way that does not feel right for you. Whether you move freely, sit quietly or simply witness, you are welcome in this space exactly as you are.
