Beneath the bright skies of midsummer and the dark canvas of the New Moon, we welcome the Sunfire Moon; a celebration of inner radiance, warmth and embodied vitality. As the days are long and the sun at its peak, this lunar cycle invites us to ignite passion, joy and purpose through movement and intention. What lights you up? What wants to bloom through you?
What to Expect
🌀 Opening Circle We begin by gathering in joyful community, grounding into the energy of summer and the spirit of celebration with a brief meditation and connection.
🌑 Ritual & Intention Setting Through guided journaling and ritual, we reflect on our inner fire. What brings us alive? What would it look like to shine without apology?
💃 Embodied Movement & Dance With upbeat rhythms and expansive movement, we embody vitality. Through somatic activation and celebratory dance, we turn up the heat and radiate outwards from our centre.
🤝 Closing Circle & Communal Sharing We end in connection, basking in the afterglow of movement and shared intention, with nourishing treats and heartfelt reflection.
Why Join?
The New Moon is a powerful time to begin again. The Sunfire Moon channels the height of solar energy and invites you to embody your own creative fire. This is a celebration of life force, joy and unapologetic self-expression, in ritual, in movement, and in community.
Common Fears & Considerations
It is natural to feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension when attending a ceremony like this, especially if it is new to you. You might feel uncertain about dancing without social crutches like alcohol, speaking in a circle or engaging in ritual practices outside of mainstream culture.
Know that there is no pressure to perform or participate in any way that does not feel right for you. Whether you move freely, sit quietly or simply witness, you are welcome in this space exactly as you are.
